The “plus-plus”

$100++ is not $100 all-in.

The two plus signs commonly mean a service or administrative charge and sales tax will be added. Service charges frequently appear around 18%–25%, but the contract controls the exact rate, taxable amount and whether gratuity is separate.

Required spending floor

Food & beverage minimums

A prime date may require a minimum catering and bar spend to reserve the room. A smaller guest list does not necessarily reduce it: if your selections fall short, the contract may still require the difference.
